Manager Quality Assurance

The Manager Quality Assurance is responsible for Quality Control and Quality Assurance, assessing quality trends and driving the continuous improvement of processes and product quality performance by establishing quality metrics. This role also provide oversight to confirm risk analysis, inspection, and supplier quality. Ensuring customer requirements are defined and all project deliverables meet customer, internal and regulatory requirements including all applicable standards.

  • Develop and implement program quality plans and procedures
  • Establish key performance metrics to monitor and improve process performance
  • Develop supplier quality audit programs
  • Assess quality trends and drive continuous improvement for processes and product quality performance, including root cause corrective actions
  • Facilitate training on safety and quality
  • Manage and communicate the Quality Management System and quality targets
  • Manage teams collecting and analyzing quality information from multiple sources to develop long-term quality strategy and programs
  • Provide organizational quality coaching, mentoring, and guidance to all quality personnel as well as cross-functional teams
  • Manage hiring, retention, and performance management for the Quality Assurance team
  • Report to management on the effectiveness of the quality system

Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
    • Minimum four (4) years of experience in people management
    • Minimum six (6) years of experience in field.
  • OR Masters Degree
    • Minimum two (2) years of experience in people management.
    • Minimum six (6) years of experience in field.
  • Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered
  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Strong preference towards candidates with an AS9100 Background
  • Aerospace and Defense Industry Experience preferred but not required
