Role Name: Sr. Manager/ Manager – Quality & Safety

OBJECTIVES:

Responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s Quality Management and Patient Safety programs. Ensures continuous readiness for regulatory and accreditation requirements (JCIA, ISO, CAP, DHA/DoH) and drives a culture of quality excellence across all units. Leads organizational initiatives to strengthen performance, mitigate risks, and advance quality systems and patient safety outcomes

ACADEMIC/SKILLS REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field such as quality, Occupational Health, Safety, Environment or Industrial Hygiene OR Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experience

  • Recognized certifications such as Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Analyst (CQA), Certified Quality Management (CQM) etc.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • 10+ years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role with 3 years of leadership role.

Desired:

Experience in a large healthcare facility, UAE experience will be preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES" Managerial:

Lead the development, execution, and periodic review of the enterprise-wide Quality & Safety strategy in alignment with organizational goals and UAE healthcare regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee the Quality Improvement Program, ensuring it remains responsive to organizational needs, industry changes, and evolving accreditation standards.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on quality performance, patient safety risks, and systemic improvement priorities.
  • Govern quality committees and steering groups, ensuring timely action on high-impact issues and effective communication with leadership.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of customer experience strategies, including surveys, focus groups, mystery shopping, and research initiatives.
  • Lead the interpretation of customer experience and quality performance data, translating findings into actionable improvements

Technical Key Responsibilities:

Provide senior-level oversight for proactive and reactive quality improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA, and FMEA.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements, including adverse event reporting, sentinel events, mandatory indicators, and accreditation submissions.
  • Direct the ongoing development, implementation, and enhancement of the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, SOPs, risk registers, incident reporting, and CAPA systems.
  • Lead organizational readiness activities for accreditation surveys, including gap assessments, mock surveys, tracer audits, and corrective action planning.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of performance metrics to support decision-making and organizational planning.
  • Ensure effective communication of improvement outcomes, innovation initiatives, and safety learnings across the organization.
  • Serve as the senior expert on all quality, safety, and risk matters in task forces, committees, and governance bodies.
  • Plan and manage the departmental budget, systems, quality tools, and technology requirements.
  • Provide specialized training and technical support to staff on patient safety, risk management, performance improvement, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee interns, trainees, volunteers, and developees participating in Quality & Safety programs, ensuring structured learning and meaningful contributions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED17,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
