Manager_ R&D-Thermal

The R&D Manager role involves Simulations, and thermal Testing of Mechanical, Electronics & Optics for understanding and improving Predictive performance of the product. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in Lighting Design, having experience of any software tools for pre and post simulation of product related to thermal impact, programming skills (e.g., MATLAB, Solid works), Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills are essential for success in this role, driving the development of cutting-edge lighting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Complete Light Products. (Take in consideration of thermal requirement)
• Knowledge of electronic active and passive component thermal requirement.
• Create prototypes and conduct experiments to validate design concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics into lighting products.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Complete Lighting.
• Write and debug Modelling software (e.g., MATLAB, Solid works).
• Lighting Design & Mechanical Design & Assembly, Led Selection, Simulation Optimization.
• Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to peers.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in embedded electronics.
• Participate in the development of technical roadmaps and product strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree: A degree in Electronics, Electrical Eng. Mech. Eng., Optical Eng. or a related field is essential. Specialization in power electronics is highly desirable.
• Experience : Minimum of 12-15 years in Application & product design and development within the Lighting sector, particularly in lighting applications.
