Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and innovation-driven Manager – Research & Development to lead product research, feature innovation, and technical experimentation for our SaaS products. The ideal candidate will bridge business vision with technical execution and play a key role in building scalable, high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead research initiatives for new SaaS products and feature enhancements

• Analyze market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies

• Identify product gaps and propose innovative solutions

• Work closely with Product, Development, and Marketing teams

• Conduct feasibility studies and technical research

• Define product improvement roadmaps

• Oversee prototype development and testing

• Monitor SaaS performance metrics (MRR, churn, retention, etc.)
• Ensure continuous product optimization and scalability

Requirements

• Proven experience in SaaS product research or product management

• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and KPIs

• Knowledge of Shopify ecosystem is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience working with development teams (Front-end, Back-end, QA)

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and research skills

• Leadership and project management abilities

• MPhil or equivalent qualification preferred

• Experience in SaaS, IT, or eCommerce industry is a plus
