R&D Manager – Ice Cream

Key Responsibilities
· Lead the research, development, and commercialization of new ice cream products and flavors.
· Optimize existing formulations to improve quality, taste, texture, and cost efficiency.
· Conduct product trials, sensory evaluations, and shelf-life studies.
· Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches.
· Stay updated on industry trends, emerging ingredients, technologies, and consumer preferences.
· Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
· Manage R&D projects from concept development to market launch.

Requirements
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, or a related field.
· 5–8+ years of experience in ice cream or frozen dessert product development.
· Strong knowledge of dairy ingredients, formulation, processing, and quality systems.
· Experience in managing product development projects and cross-functional teams.
