Job summary:
To lead the development and implementation of resilience strategies and programs designed to enhance the organization's ability to withstand and recover from disruptions. This role is crucial in integrating resilience systems across various business functions, ensuring comprehensive preparedness, compliance with industry standards, and continuous improvement of resilience capabilities.
General Responsibilities:

Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems ▪ Follow the operational strategy in compliance with group delegation of authority policy.

▪ Ensure the compliance of organization’s policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls in line with group delegation of authority policy so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.

Reporting ▪ Ensure that all reports are completed timely and comply with the business and organization’s policies and standards.

▪ Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the business senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.

▪ Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner.

▪ Oversee the design, development, and management of risk and resilience programs that address specific organizational vulnerabilities, such as cyber threats, physical security risks, and supply chain disruptions.

▪ Ensure that resilience systems and tools are integrated and aligned with other business functions, including IT, operations, human resources, and finance, to foster a unified approach and sharing of information for risk management, business continuity, crisis and emergency management.

▪ Develop, implement and maintain the risk and resilience system and toolset strategy.

▪ Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop partnerships and collaborative initiatives that support risk and resilience objectives. This includes liaising with local government agencies, industry peers, and emergency services.

▪ Monitor and report on compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards related to risk, resilience and continuity planning.

▪ Monitor and research new legislation, best practices, industry standards, thought leadership, tools and systems for risk and resilience to continuously improve risk and resilience programs and tools.

▪ Lead cross-functional initiatives across risk and resilience functions to ensure consistency and integration.

▪ Evaluate and implement technology solutions that support risk and resilience initiatives and objectives, such as emergency notification systems, business continuity software, crisis management tools and the risk management system.

▪ Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of risk and resilience programs, making adjustments based on data-driven insights and feedback from program participants.

▪ Manage and maintain the risk and resilience document management system and library of best practices, industry standards, and legal and regulatory requirements.

▪ Develop, manage and maintain quality control policies, processes and procedures for risk and resilience.

▪ Work with the Risk and Resilience function managers to identify, define and maintain requirements for the risk management, business continuity and crisis management tools and systems.
Job Specific Responsibilities:

Manage the implementation and maintenance of risk management, business continuity and crisis management tools and systems across the company to support the risk management framework.

▪ Design, implement and maintain the workflows within the risk management, business continuity and crisis management tools and systems.

▪ Maintain the risk management, business continuity and crisis management tools and systems in line with the company organization structure.

▪ Provide support and training to the risk & resilience functions and business functions on the risk management, business continuity and crisis management tools and systems.

▪ Provide system administration and user access control administration on the risk management, business continuity and crisis management tools.

▪ Develop and maintain a management information system to support monitoring and reporting on risk management, business continuity and crisis management progress, status, capability and performance.

▪ Develop and implement reporting templates and tools to support the reporting requirements for risk management, business continuity and crisis management.

▪ Monitor and report on the progress and status of risk management, business continuity and crisis management improvement actions from review, audits, workshops, self-assessments, incidents, exercises, drills and simulations.

▪ Prepare regular reports for senior management outlining current risks, program effectiveness, and recommendations for improvements.

▪ Prepare and deliver risk management, business continuity and crisis management progress, status and performance reports to senior management and executives.

▪ Provide timely risk management, business continuity and crisis management reports to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirement:

Professional certification in Business Administration or related fields.
