Manager Risk Adjustment Program

Position details:

Location: Tampa, FL (Remote - Must Reside in the State of Florida)

Status: Full Time, Salaried

Shift Hours: M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Manager Risk Adjustment Program Summary:

  • Supports operational and clinical best practices around risk adjustment methodology for the population health services organization.
  • Uses provider performance metrics and data to identify program/provider opportunities and gaps.
  • Works with physician/facility practices and key stakeholders to provide measurable and actionable solutions through education and in-office support to improve documentation and ICD-10 coding practices.
  • Leads the development of educational materials, policies and procedures, training programs and educational tools for Risk Adjustment Program team members and other key stakeholders.
  • As a resource and preceptor, provides on-going supervision, education and training of risk adjustment team members related to coding and documentation responsibilities.
  • Monitors monthly team member productivity and accuracy and provides feedback, education and coaching.
  • Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of coding guidelines and relevant federal regulations through the use of HCC (Hierarchical Condition Category) and ICD-10 materials.
  • Supports the day-to-day operations of the risk adjustment team.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Credentials: CPC (Certified Professional Coder), CRC (Certified Rehabilitation Counselor) and CDEO (Certified Documentation Expert Outpatient)

Required Education: HS Graduate or Equivalent GED; Preferred: Bachelors Degree

Required Experience: 7 years Risk Adjustment
