Overview

We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead our Sales Coordination & Supply Chain function, ensuring seamless order execution, efficient logistics management, and strong collaboration across Sales, Dispatch, Production, and Accounts. The role demands team leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities to manage operations smoothly and resolve escalations effectively.

  • Position: Sr. Sales Co-Ordinator/ Manager – Sales Co-Ordination & Supply Chain
  • Experience: 7–10+ years (Preference: Exposure to Construction Chemicals/ Building Materials, Cement, Paints, Industrial Chemicals, Speciality Chemicals, FMCG or Consumer Durables Industries)
  • Location: Ahmedabad
  • Joining: Immediate to early availability preferred
  • Experience in transporters/logistics vendor management, cost negotiations, and Sales Co-Ordination.
  • This role demands independent decision-making, leadership of the sales coordination team, and proactive problem-solving across supply chain and customer operations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Team Management & leadership

  • Lead and mentor the Sales Coordination & Logistics team (5–6 members), ensuring smooth internal workflows.
  • Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide guidance to improve efficiency.
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and customer-first approach.

2. Sales Coordination & Communication

  • Act as the single point of contact between Sales, Production, Dispatch, and Accounts teams.
  • Ensure timely communication of stock availability, dispatch schedules, and updates.
  • Strengthen collaboration with the sales force by providing accurate and proactive solutions.

3. Decision-Making & Escalation Handling

  • Independently decide on transporter selection, dispatch priorities, and order allocation.
  • Resolve issues related to delayed dispatch, stock shortages, or dealer complaints.
  • Handle CN/DN disputes, scheme clarifications, and order delays with quick solutions.
  • Escalate only critical issues to management with proposed solutions.

4. Sales Supply Chain & Logistics Management

  • Manage transporters (FTL/PTL), negotiate freight, and optimize routes.
  • Track shipments, resolve delivery delays, and ensure statutory compliance (e-way bill, GST, LR).
  • Evaluate vendor performance and build long-term partnerships.

5. Inventory & Distribution Control

  • Coordinate with production and warehouse teams for stock planning and allocation.
  • Monitor inventory levels across warehouses to ensure uninterrupted supply and to avoid stock-outs during peak construction season.
  • Maintain accurate stock reports and oversee physical vs. system reconciliations.

6. Insurance & Risk Management

· Manage transit insurance, claims for lost/damaged goods, and minimize exposure.

· Coordinate with insurers and transporters for timely settlements.

7. Channel Partner Scheme & Claims Management

· Oversee implementation of dealer/distributor/retailer schemes (incentives, schemes, etc).

· Process credit notes (CN) and debit notes (DN) in coordination with accounts.

· Maintain transparency with partners and sales team through proper documentation and reporting.

8. Reporting & MIS

  • Present daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales, dispatch, inventory, and logistics cost.
  • Provide forecasting insights to production team based on seasonal/project demand.
  • Manage MIS dashboards for supply chain efficiency and sales performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
