MANAGER- SMART SOLUTION

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITY


  • Drive early involvement in ELV/AV opportunities to influence scope, specifications, architecture, and overall solution strategy.

  • Support Sales in identifying and pursuing high-value, low-risk opportunities aligned with company strategy and margin targets.

  • Own presales governance to ensure the right clients, scope, risk profile, and profitability

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to influence project requirements and shape future opportunities.

  • Lead the design of end-to-end ELV/AV solutions (Security, ICT, AV, Structured Cabling, Smart & Digital Systems).

  • Drive value engineering, alternative solutions, and innovation to improve competitiveness and differentiation.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales on technical strategy, pricing logic, risk areas, bid strategy, and negotiations.

  • Ensure proposals are technically compliant, commercially sound, competitive, and continuously improving in quality and clarity.

  • Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, contractual, and operational risks at the presales stage.

  • Work closely with Operations to validate buildability, scalability, operability, and delivery readiness.

  • Design and implement structured presales processes, templates, costing models, and governance frameworks.

  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing presales team while contributing to new offerings, capability growth, and long-term technology roadmap.



4. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES


  • Understanding of Smart Technologies:

    • End-to-end understanding of ELV system architecture and system-of-systems integration
    • Ability to design scalable, interoperable solutions across multi-vendor environments
    • Knowledge of interfaces with MEP, IT, BMS, and Smart Building platforms Innovation and Product Development

    • Strong hands on knowledge of security system, , ICT system, AV Other ELV system

  • Communication Skills:

  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Adaptability to change & Innovation

    • Up-to-date with ELV / AV technology trends (AI video analytics, smart AV, IoT, cloud platforms)
    • Ability to translate innovation into commercial advantage, not technical risk
    • Support company vision for new offerings and services

  • Techno commercial skills :

    • Translate technical designs into accurate BOMs, cost models, and pricing strategies
    • Understand TCO, lifecycle cost, and value justification
    • Ability to balance performance, compliance, margin, and risk.

    • Lead preparation of technical proposals, compliance matrices, method statements, and clarifications
    • Ensure clarity in scope definition, assumptions, and exclusions
    • Drive consistency and professionalism in submissions
