Job Purpose
To support the implementation and coordination of combat sports programs across multiple initiative project partner branches and brands, ensuring consistent quality and alignment with the organization’s overall strategy.
The Manager Sports Partnerships oversees daily operations across different locations, manages relationships with initiative project partners and coaching staff, and ensures smooth collaboration between stakeholders. The role also ensures efficient resource allocation and compliance with organizational standards, while playing a key role in expanding and maintaining the organization’s network of partner branches to drive long term development of grassroots combat sports initiatives.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Program Coordination & Implementation
- Coordinate the rollout of combat sports programs across multiple initiative project partner locations, ensuring each site meets agreed-upon standards and timelines.
- Support the hiring, onboarding, and supervision of coaching staff, ensuring appropriate allocation of instructors.
- Facilitate communication between initiative project partner, coaches, and management to ensure consistent delivery of training sessions and participant engagement.
Partnership Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for initiative partners, maintaining strong and transparent relationships.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align business and program goals, addressing challenges proactively.
- Support the negotiation and renewal of partnership agreements in coordination with senior management.
- Operational Oversight & Reporting
- Track program performance across locations, including participation rates, instructor feedback, and partner satisfaction, and conduct consistent visits
- Prepare regular reports and updates for senior leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure all operational and reporting processes align with organizational standards and data requirements.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all initiative project partner adhere to safety guidelines and risk management procedures related to combat sports training.
- Promote an environment of safety awareness and open communication among staff and participants.
- Monitor compliance with organizational, legal, and facility-specific regulations.
- Other Accountabilities
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities within the scope of the role as assigned by leadership to meet evolving business needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and expansion of the sports partnerships program through innovation and collaboration.
