Manager Supply Chain I CDC I Day I Full Time

Overview:

UF Health has an exciting job opportunity for a Manager of Supply chain to join team! Under the leadership of the Corporate Director, this role provides strategic and operational leadership for Procurement, Warehouse Distribution, and Inventory Control at UF Health Leesburg Hospital or UF Health The Villages Hospital. This position also oversees Shipping and Receiving operations and plays a key role in coordinating product conversions across Central Supply to ensure smooth implementation in partnership with Supply Chain leadership.

This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to drive process improvements, optimize supply operations, and support hospital operations that directly impact patient care.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage departmental staffing, scheduling, payroll, productivity, and budget to ensure efficient and fiscally responsible operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all UF Health policies, regulatory standards, and maintain continuous survey readiness.
  • Promote excellent patient and customer service through staff engagement, rounding, service recovery, and strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with physicians, leadership, and other departments.
  • Prepare reports, budgets, and operational analyses while supporting senior leadership with administrative and operational needs.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to organizational ethics, privacy policies, and behavioral standards.
  • Participate in continuing education, leadership development, and professional organizations to stay current in the field.
  • Document incidents, manage departmental resources, and ensure proper use of space, equipment, and organizational assets.


Schedule

FTE: 1.0

Shift Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm

Days of Week: Monday-Friday


Qualifications:
  • Education
    • High School Diploma/GED req
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Health Service Administration or related fields req OR 5 years experience in health care supply chain operations with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role may be accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • CMRP certification preferred
  • Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training
    • Demonstrated proficiency in expense reductions, benchmarking and Group Purchasing Organization compliance.
  • Experience Required
    • 3-5 years- Direct Management experience AND 3+ years’ experience in healthcare supply chain services management experience
