POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager, Supply Chain Management is responsible for managing and evaluating CAVIS Energy Supply Chain department’s day to day operations. This includes management of all procurement, warehouse, logistics, inventory and fleet staff.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead all aspects of people management and development.
• Collaborate with staff, other departments, senior management, and decision makers to share information, problem solve, and to clarify management objectives.
• Ensure effective management of the orders bin and requests coming from the field.
• Review data entries of the team to ensure all operating system data is up to date and checked for errors.
• Work with the Material Analysts to ensure quotes are completed accurately and as per schedule.
• Conduct daily posting of all internal sales invoices with applicable part number fixes.
• Address any escalated issues with field staff, clients or billings department.
• Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, and optimize customer service.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and vendors.
• Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer’s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to procurement activities, direct sales
• Participate in the sales and operations planning process including supply & demand forecasting, inventory management, and on time delivery.
• Fleet oversight, manage all aspects of fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance and compliance with industry standards.
• Identify and manage risk within the Supply Chain department.
• Establish key performance indicators, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against set goals.
• Prepare management reporting as required.
• All other duties as assigned.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer literate with experience using MS Office and fleet management system.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, teambuilding, and oral/written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning skills.
• Available Monday to Friday and occasional availability on weekends.

REQUIRED ROLE EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field experience preferred
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management and sourcing or formal certification in Supply Chain Management
• 3+ years of experience in a people leadership role.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and able to travel.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry or other I&E/Construction related organizations an asset.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for extended periods
• Adverse working environment: Exposure to noise, extreme temperature, dirt, dangerous machinery, and other hazardous conditions requiring safety adherence and PPE equipment.
