Manager Technical Services (Mashreq Global Network Pakistan)

Job Purpose

• Design and implement Microsoft infrastructure: AD, Entra ID, Exchange (on-prem/hybrid), M365.
• Manage hybrid identity and secure access: MFA, SSO, Conditional Access.
• Deploy and optimize the Microsoft Defender suite: MDI, MDO, MDE.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for core services.
• Lead infrastructure security and compliance initiatives.
• Integrate on-premises and cloud platforms for seamless operations.
• Support enterprise collaboration tools across the M365 ecosystem.
• Advise cross-functional teams on infrastructure strategy and improvements.
• Deliver scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions.

Key Result Areas

• Daily Monitoring of applications, Services and System alerts under the unit.
• Timely escalation of issues and problems that are identified.
• Root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of problems.
• Service ticket management
• Ensure compliance of all desktop systems and applications as per baselines.
• Deployment of approved changes, patches and bug fixes.
• Strict adherence to change management process
• Work independently and as part of project team, on needs basis
• Manage and ensure smooth running of released systems by monitoring and performing housekeeping activities and necessary fixes for errors.
• Incident management - Prompt reporting of production issues with impact analysis and taking necessary action for rectification
• System, Administration and performance tuning based on requirements.
• Follow and implement Information Security policies and guidelines

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Mandatory Experience for Enterprise Support - Infra Architect

• Expertise in Active Directory architecture, GPOs, and domain services
• Hands-on experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity integration
• Deployment and management of Exchange Server (on-prem & hybrid)
• Administration of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
• Implementation of Microsoft Defender tools (MDI, MDO, MDE)
• Configuration of MFA , SSO , and Conditional Access policies
• Automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API
• Security and compliance setup using Microsoft Purview and DLP policies
• Planning and execution of Disaster Recovery and High Availability strategies
• Creation of infrastructure design documents , runbooks, and architecture diagrams
