Job Purpose:
The Technology Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution and delivery of key operations’ initiative, ensuring that initiatives are aligned with enhancing Red Sea Global’s digital services and optimizing daily operations. This role encompasses strategic planning, resource allocation, process improvement, performance management, and budget control. As a key driver of operational success, the Technology Operations Manager ensures alignment between operations and business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Operations Management:

Oversee the daily activities of technology operations optimization initiatives, ensuring all activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

Develop, implement, and manage operational processes and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to align operational objectives with company goals.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance, identify trends, and propose corrective actions when necessary.
Team Leadership & Development:

Support and mentor a team of operations managers, supervisors, and staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and high-performance standards.

Participate in performance reviews, provide feedback, and support professional development opportunities for team members.

Promote a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Strategic Planning & Process Improvement:

Develop and execute operational strategies in alignment with the RSG technology overall business objectives.

Continuously assess and improve operational processes, leveraging best practices and new technologies.

Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other efficiency methodologies to streamline operations.

Lead projects for process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
Budgeting & Resource Management:
-
Track operational budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and expenditures stay within financial constraints.

Forecast operational needs and develop strategies for resource allocation to meet business demands.

Work with the finance team to monitor expenses and develop cost-saving measures without sacrificing quality.
Collaboration & Communication:

Collaborate with senior leadership, other department directors, and stakeholders to ensure operational goals align with corporate strategy.

Report on operational performance to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Maintain clear and consistent communication across all teams and departments to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure operations comply with relevant industry regulations, laws, and standards.

Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions or non-compliance issues.
Customer Focus:

Ensure operational practices align with customer satisfaction objectives, striving for excellence in service delivery.

Address customer feedback and complaints promptly to ensure positive relationships and continued business growth.
Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports:

Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.
Safety, Quality & Environment:

Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Continuous Improvement:

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department’s systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
-
Proven experience in working with teams, managing budgets, and optimizing operational processes.

Strong knowledge of IT operational practices, systems, and technologies.
Skills:
-
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities.

High level of proficiency with operational management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
