Technology Strategy & Transformation – Tech Operating Model Transformation - Manager

During your tenure as a Manager in Technology Strategy & Transformation, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Technology Strategy / Tech Operating Model:

o Conduct client workshops to manage business requirements, perform current state assessment, and support scalable product-centric IT operating model designs that align with the business strategy.

o Design and develop comprehensive tech strategies and roadmaps for clients to optimize their technology operations.

o Support with assessing the technology capability maturity and identify improvement opportunities to be elevated to the enterprise level.

o Lead and manage the implementation of technology operating model transformations, IT Processes and Policies for clients using agile methodologies.

o Support with designing and embedding an agile and lean approach into the clients' existing operations, facilitating a smooth transition and maximizing the efficiency of the technology delivery process.

o Support with defining and implementing efficient IT service management processes aligned to the best practices such as ITIL, COBIT frameworks.

o Develop and enhance the vendor management frameworks to drive performance, compliance and strategic alignment with third party partners.

o Support with developing and enhancing the IT budgeting, financial reporting / management, show back / charge back processes to optimize the IT spends for the clients. (good to have)

o Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies and trends that may have an impact on the company's business, as well as devising plans to respond.

o Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the clients' requirements.

o Acting as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the entire digital transformation, ensuring that their needs are met and that the delivered solutions align with their long-term goals.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, finance, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation of technology operating models and the achievement of business objectives.

o Ensuring quality client deliverables and thorough project plans and documentation for senior CXO level client stakeholders

o Understanding of outcome driven approaches such as Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) approach is good to have.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a deadline-oriented environment and flexible work hours
  • Willingness to travel (required)
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Arabic is a plus
  • Ability to operate and understand excellent project and program management disciplines including production of project plans and key quality program deliverables
  • Strong administrative and numeracy skills and ability to analyze complex data with good attention to details

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or Industrial Engineering, MBA or a relevant Master degree or certificate is a plus
  • 7-10 years of experience in Consulting/Digital Banking is a plus
  • Banking Domain (At least two areas):
    • Channels (Digital Banking/ Omni banking platform - Internet Banking, Mobile Banking)
    • Payments (Retail, corporate, remittance)
    • Credit & debit card systems
    • Transactional Banking
    • Retail Banking
    • Commercial Banking
