Manager – Vertical Farm & Hydroponic Farming. Karachi based

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Vertical Farm & Hydroponic Farming to oversee and manage our state-of-the-art hydroponic farm operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in vertical farming practices, hydroponic systems, and crop management.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and monitor irrigation systems to ensure optimal water and nutrient delivery.

· Oversee seed germination and propagation, ensuring timely replacement of plants for continuous production.

· Implement pest control strategies (biological and chemical) to maintain plant health.

· Monitor crop growth cycles, yields, and maintain farm production records.

· Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards within the farm facility.

· Coordinate with senior management for planning and introducing new varieties.

Requirements

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in hydroponic or vertical farming management.

· Strong understanding of nutrient solutions, pH/EC balancing, and controlled environment agriculture.

· Knowledge of pest and disease management in soilless farming systems.

· Ability to manage farm staff and train team members on standard operating procedures.

· Problem-solving and analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field (preferred).
