Manager, Warehouse Operations

Position Summary:

The Manager, Warehouse Operations is responsible for the overall strategic leadership and day-to-day execution of warehouse and Mobile Integration Center (MIC) operations. This role drives operational excellence across receiving, inventory management, production/staging, order fulfillment, and shipping while ensuring safety, accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding customer experience.

The Manager leads supervisors and frontline teams, develops high-performing talent, and partners cross-functionally to align operations with business objectives, service level commitments, and growth strategies.

Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Own and drive end-to-end warehouse and MIC operations, including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, staging, integration, and shipping for all projects going through NetSuite.
  • Maintain strong oversight of daily workflows, labor allocation, and throughput to optimize productivity and performance
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics (fulfillment, accuracy, inventory, productivity) to identify trends and root causes of issues
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Establish clear performance expectations for employees and accountability to drive results and continuous improvement.

  • Responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance and customer experience of the warehouse operations
  • Accomplishes warehouse operations human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Develops warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process workflow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout, implementing changes.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Responsible for writing/implementing work instructions for all activities within the warehouse and making sure they are all being followed
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and safety-first work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain management or logistics.
  • Microsoft Suite expertise: strong analytical Excel & PowerPoint skills to support ongoing data mining & analysis, and designs & executes KPI’s & operational metrics
  • 4-7 years’ experience in warehouse operations management
  • Able to work collaboratively across functions and synthesize multiple points of view into a streamlined action plan. Able to effectively drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company
  • Able to hit the ground running – a confident, entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize projects to delegate tasks appropriately
  • Demonstrated leadership in building a culture of Continuous Improvement for process and operation
  • Analytical ability necessary to gather and interpret data to further develop, recommend and implement solutions
  • Managing Processes, People Management, Supervision, Data Entry Skills, Data Entry Management, Data Processing, Dependability, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Dealing with Complexity, Deadline-Oriented
  • Valid driver’s license required and valid forklift operator’s license highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of FedEx & UPS shipping console systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP preferred or other ERP/Warehouse Management Software experience.
  • Requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
