Key ResponsibilitiesA. Warehouse Operations Management
- Plan, supervise, and control warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and reverse logistics.
- Ensure daily operational targets are achieved (OTIF deliveries, picking accuracy, dispatch timelines).
- Maintain optimal warehouse flow and manage space utilization effectively.
B. Inventory Management
- Ensure accurate stock levels through daily cycle counts, monthly stocktaking, and reconciliation.
- Maintain zero variance between physical stock and system stock.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO practices for perishable and short-shelf-life products.
C. Systems & Process Control
- Oversee operation of Warehouse Management System (WMS) / ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Generate and review MIS reports: stock ageing, slow-moving items, goods return analysis, discrepancies.
- Drive process improvements using Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and automation initiatives.
D. Manpower Management
- Manage a team of supervisors, warehouse executives, pickers, loaders, and material handlers.
- Prepare manpower rosters based on workload forecasting.
- Train and develop warehouse staff to maintain skill and performance standards.
E. Vendor & Logistics Coordination
- Liaise with transporters, suppliers, and third-party logistics partners (3PL).
- Ensure timely inbound and outbound coordination with procurement, sales, production, and distribution teams.
- Monitor logistics costs and negotiate better rates with transport partners when required.
F. Compliance, Safety & Audits
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and statutory norms (FMCG hygiene standards, FSSAI, fire safety).
- Conduct periodic audits: safety audits, stock audits, process audits.
- Implement strict governance on material handling equipment usage (pallet trucks, forklifts).
G. KPI & Performance Monitoring
- Track warehouse performance through KPIs such as:
- OTIF (On-Time In-Full) deliveries
- Picking accuracy
- Inventory accuracy
- Warehouse productivity (per man-hour)
- Cost per order processed
- Stock ageing and shrinkage levels
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews.

Pay: Rs220,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
