Position – Manager/Senior Manager – Legal

Company – Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

Job Location – New Delhi (South Delhi)

Work Experience – PQE of 8 to 12 years; majorly as in-house counsel in a large set up

Qualification – LL. B/LLM from premier law colleges

Required Skills:

• Stakeholders’ management – internal as well as external with exposure in working with cross functional teams.
• Understanding of diversified functions in a wide-ranging business eco system viz. supply chain, marketing and sales, procurement, human resource, finance etc.
• Dealing with litigation or other proceedings before judicial and quasi-judicial authorities including but not limited to tribunals, high courts, supreme courts, regulatory authorities.
• Drafting of legal notices, undertakings, cease and desist notices, petitions, appeals, reply to notices from enforcement agencies.
• Interaction with investigation agencies, police officers, regulators and other government officials and responding to their queries/notices.
• Sound knowledge of Competition Law, IBC, Indirect Taxation, Customs, E-commerce guidelines, Contracts, Consumer Law and upcoming new laws and related litigation. Hands-on experience in regulatory disputes will be an added advantage.
• Know-how of dispute prevention methodologies including negotiations, mediation and other pre-litigation processes.
• Excellent in written and oral communications, power point presentations.
• Focus to provide business advisories in terms of legal solutions/inputs in tight timelines.
