Summary/Objective
This role reports into the DEA Regulatory Compliance practice and is responsible for leading client engagements, managing team resources, overseeing budgets, and driving business development initiatives for organizations operating within the controlled substances space. The position will specialize in DEA diversion control programs, including prevention, detection, response, and remediation strategies.
As a senior subject matter expert in DEA regulatory compliance, this role requires a highly experienced, insightful, and decisive leader with demonstrated success in people management, financial oversight, client relationship management, and practice growth. The individual will play a key role in shaping practice strategy, expanding market presence, and delivering high‑impact compliance solutions.

Management Responsibility
This position directly manages employees within the DEA Regulatory Compliance practice as assigned and is responsible for hiring, performance management, coaching, and professional development. The role also carries accountability for engagement staffing, budget oversight, and contributing to the overall growth and strategic direction of the practice.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This position occasionally requires long hours and weekend work to fulfill client deadlines.
Travel
Visiting clients and overnight travel is required and frequency can vary.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, much of the work may be done sitting at a desk, using a computer, typing, handling phone calls, filing, and using office equipment such as printers and copiers. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

The base annual salary range offered for this position is based on numerous factors, including job-related skills and knowledge, experience, specific location, relevant education and/or training. In addition to the annual salary, we offer a full benefits package.
