Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mandarin Chinese Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Mandarin, with experience working with children ages 2-6 . This role involves designing engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their language skills in both spoken and written Mandarin. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to students’ cultural understanding and language proficiency in a dynamic academic setting.

Duties

• Develop and deliver comprehensive Mandarin Chinese lessons tailored to various proficiency levels
• Create engaging instructional materials and activities that promote active learning
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and oral evaluations
• Provide constructive feedback to support student improvement and confidence
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages cultural exchange and curiosity
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum quality and integrate cultural components into lessons
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance
• Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities

Skills

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Seasonal, Freelance

Pay: $23.34 - $28.10 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
