As an English Teacher at Links Academy, you’ll help students build confidence and mastery in reading, writing, and critical thinking through fully individualized instruction. You’ll design lessons that connect literature and language to students’ personal experiences and goals, foster engagement and a lifelong love of learning. Working within a flexible, college-preparatory environment, you’ll collaborate with a supportive team that values creativity, independence, and student growth.
What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

At least two years of experience teaching middle or high school English

Teaching certification preferred but not required

Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Passion for creating meaningful, personalized learning experiences for every student
What You’ll Do

Design and deliver one-on-one English instruction tailored to each student’s academic level and learning style

Engage students in literary analysis, creative and academic writing, and language skills development

Incorporate real-world connections and diverse perspectives into lessons to inspire curiosity and understanding

Track and document student progress using digital tools to inform instruction and ensure accountability

Communicate regularly with students, families, and school leadership to support ongoing success
