Mandarin Speaking Nanny

Part-Time Nanny Needed | San Francisco, CA

A quiet & loving family in San Francisco, CA (94109) is seeking a compassionate Nanny to provide long term, part-time care for their 6 year old and soon to be infant (EDD May 20th), beginning as soon as possible. Please note that the emphasis of care will be on newborn support, as the 6 year old is in school during the day.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - 10:30am to 5:30pm (28 hours per week)

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Provide attentive, engaging care focused on the child’s safety, well-being, and development.
• Support a smooth transition as the family welcomes a newborn into the home.
• Assist with light household duties including cooking, cleaning, and laundry (supplies provided), while child is at school.
• Occasionally monitor and care for the newborn while parents attend errands or appointments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment using non-toxic practices and products.

The ideal candidate is gentle yet structured, creating a safe, calm, and nurturing environment for the children. They embody kindness and patience, with a naturally quiet and steady presence that supports emotional well-being. A strong emphasis on respect and love for others is essential, aligning with the family’s values. A bilingual nanny (Mandarin and English) is highly desired.

Must be open to collaboration, as both parents work from home.

Must be vaccinated (TDAP, TB, COVID, Flu, MMR, Chicken pox & Hepatitis B)

Compensation: $35/hr + (mileage reimbursement & Waymo)
