Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer (Mobile & API) who is eager to learn and grow in software quality assurance. The selected candidate will work closely with senior QA engineers, developers, and product teams to test mobile applications and backend APIs, ensuring features meet business and quality requirements.

This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who have a strong attention to detail, basic testing knowledge, and a willingness to learn hands-on in a production environment.

Note: This is a manual testing role. Automation testing is not required at this stage.Key Responsibilities

• Manually test mobile applications on Android and iOS
• Execute test cases for new features and bug fixes
• Test backend APIs using Postman and Swagger (basic to intermediate level)
• Validate features against product requirements and ClickUp tickets
• Perform smoke testing and assist in regression testing before releases
• Identify, log, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
• Re-test issues after fixes and report results
• Maintain basic testing documentation and checklists
• Communicate findings clearly with the team

• ClickUp (task and bug tracking)
• Postman / Swagger
• Android Emulator
• iOS Simulator

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome)
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in manual QA testing (internship or academic experience acceptable)
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts (functional, smoke, regression testing)
• Basic knowledge of mobile application testing
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger
• Ability to write clear bug reports
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic project experience in QA or software testing
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum environments
• Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC
