Location: Malvern, PA - Onsite Tue- Thur with Monday and Friday Remote

Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week

Length of Contract: 6 months

Hourly Pay: 35-50 p/hr - W2

Provides support in the testing and documentation of business systems and user needs. Defines criteria for testing, participates in test scenario planning, and implements testing tools.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

1. Utilizes test case scenarios to recommend resolutions to production support issues. Ensures appropriate problem resolution and test case methodology is utilized.

2. Tests user support processes and activities for the quality assurance of new or existing applications. Supports the collection, documentation, and maintenance of functional requirements and modeling.

3. Participates in the design, prototyping, coding, and testing of new or enhanced applications. Reports progress on problem resolution and testing defects to managers. Analyzes current procedures and workflows and develops recommendations for improvements.

4. Creates test cases based on business requirements, user processes, vendor documentation and solution design specifications. Monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshoots issues, as necessary.

5. Ensures business systems meet Vanguard standards and end-user requirements as directed by management. Contributes to routine and ad hoc test summary reports.

6. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

7. tools used are Jira, Excel, Databases and UI screens.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years related work experience.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
