Position Summary
The Assistant Manager supports the daily operations of a manufactured housing community, helping ensure high occupancy, resident satisfaction, and efficient property management. This role combines administrative duties, customer service, leasing, and coordination of maintenance activities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Conduct property tours for prospective residents
· Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
· Conduct operations in a manner that adheres to the property budget
· Assist in the creation of property budgets
· Assist with marketing available homes and lots.
· Process applications, background checks, and lease agreements.
· Maintain accurate records of occupancy and vacancies.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for residents.
· Address resident concerns, complaints, and requests professionally.
· Enforce community rules and policies consistently.
· Foster a positive, community-oriented environment.
· Maintain resident files, lease documentation, and reports.
· Assist with rent collection and tracking delinquencies.
· Prepare notices (late rent, violations, etc.)
· Attend court hearings as needed in the furtherance of company objectives
· Support bookkeeping and reporting as needed.
· Conduct regular inspections of homes, lots, and common areas.
· Coordinate with maintenance/vendors for repairs and upkeep.
· Ensure community cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
· Track work orders and follow up on completion.
· Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal housing regulations.

· Work Environment: Employee is frequently indoors in a temperature-controlled environment but will also be outdoors walking on properties. Employees must be able to travel regularly.

· Years of Experience: 3 years of real estate evaluation experience, predominantly focused on Ohio and surrounding states.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (emphasis on real estate) or equivalent work experience.
· Computer and Electronics: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products to type text, insert pictures, format, edit, print, and save. Using other software applications, and present findings.

Emotional Intelligence – Being able to interpret others’ verbal, physical, and other reactions to judge their emotional condition properly and/or comprehension.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
