Manufacturing Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing accounting processes, cost accounting, and production-related financial entries. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records related to manufacturing operations, ensuring proper cost allocation, and supporting management with insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain all manufacturing accounting entries including raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods
• Handle cost accounting functions including standard costing, variance analysis, and production cost tracking
• Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts and ensure accuracy between physical and system stock
• Prepare monthly manufacturing cost reports and production summaries
• Analyze production costs, overheads, and efficiency metrics
• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams for accurate inventory valuation
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting standards
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to manufacturing accounts
• Maintain and improve costing systems and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in accounting, with strong focus on manufacturing accounting
• Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes
• Experience in recording production entries, BOM (Bill of Materials), and inventory costing
• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Preferred Skills

• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG industry
• Knowledge of standard costing and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
