Manufacturing Automation Electrician

Our manufacturing operation depends on disciplined troubleshooting, sharp diagnostics, and rock-solid electrical craftsmanship. In this role, you combine strategic thinking with hands-on expertise to elevate uptime, safety, and product quality.

Your impact

  • Deliver against KPIs for safety, quality, output, efficiency, and internal service
  • Uphold safety protocols, regulatory obligations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Diagnose and repair failures across electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems
  • Create and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
  • Support power distribution and control, plus pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature/pressure instrumentation
  • Configure and troubleshoot PLC programs built in basic and ladder logic
  • Design foundational analog/digital circuits and set up microprocessor-centric hardware/software
  • Install, maintain, and repair wiring, conduit, and plant electrical equipment
  • Safely connect machinery and equipment to power sources
  • Drive root-cause analysis and implement corrective solutions that last
  • Maintain thorough maintenance documentation: work orders, breakdown analyses, and modification records
  • Keep drawings current by updating schematics after changes
  • Lay out wiring plans for new equipment and modifications
  • Assemble and function-test electrical components before integrating on the floor
  • Troubleshoot complex and unusual electrical problems, including power-quality disturbances

What sets you up for success

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years in industrial electrical/machinery diagnosis and repair, or equivalent education and training
  • Proficiency producing and reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
  • Experience programming PLCs with ladder/basic logic
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Advanced capability across electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation
  • Working knowledge of industrial controls and related mechanical systems
  • Background with microprocessor hardware and software configurations
  • Ability to design basic analog and digital circuits
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfort operating independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong visual acuity, including accurate color recognition
