Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and engineering principles, with hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and efficiency while ensuring product quality. The Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including plastics injection molding, CNC programming, and welding techniques.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production and develop effective solutions.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo for design and modification of manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Program and maintain robotic systems to enhance automation on the assembly line.
  • Create schematics for industrial equipment and tooling to improve production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Participate in project scheduling and management to ensure timely completion of engineering initiatives.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts using lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows.
  • Provide technical support for fabrication processes and assembly operations within the factory environment.
  • Maintain documentation related to engineering projects, including GD&T specifications and vision inspection system setups.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with hands-on factory experience.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in process engineering and robotics.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo) and CAM programming tools.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and industrial equipment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of tooling design, fabrication techniques, and assembly line operations is essential.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems using root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
