Advatech Pacific is an established Aerospace & Defense Engineering firm supporting our customers with engineering, modeling, research and development, design and analysis services. Currently we have a Manufacturing Engineer position open in Irvine, CA.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Primary Qualifications include:

  • A background in complex machining, particularly for gears.
  • A minimum of 8 years manufacturing experience.
  • Must be able to read 2D drawings and create marking fixture drawings.
  • A good working knowledge of lean manufacturing, product planning and routing.
  • Must have attention to detail and understand the need for accuracy, timeliness and quality in assigned work tasks.
  • Other desired skills are knowledge of Catia and CAD Software, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of various Manufacturing Software and Tracking.
  • Must have excellent report writing and problem solving skills.
  • Extensive use of MS Office tools and strong written skills a must.

Education

Requires a B.S. in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
