Manufacturing Engineer

Position: Manufacturing Engineer (DFM/NPI)

Location: Brighton, MI

This is a full time, in office role

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead DFM assessment and manufacturability analysis for new product development.
• Support scaled global manufacturing and mass production readiness.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, production lines and automation solutions.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure designs meet manufacturability and cost targets.
• Support trial production, production ramp and mass production implementation.
• Drive cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with automation teams and manufacturing plants to implement new equipment and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience supporting global manufacturing operations and high volume production.
• Experience with automated manufacturing lines and industrial automation.
• Knowledge of electronic assembly processes and production equipment.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work with international manufacturing teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently to Mexico manufacturing facilities.
