Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Based in Stillwater, MN, we are an industry leader in advanced manufacturing, producing high-performance components and materials for specialized industrial and technical markets.
We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager with strong leadership and process optimization experience to drive continuous improvement, lead engineering teams, and enhance manufacturing performance across a dynamic production environment.
Role and Responsibilities:

Lead and standardize manufacturing engineering practices to optimize production, quality, and cost performance

Drive process improvements, manufacturability enhancements, and yield optimization across operations

Partner cross-functionally with Production, R&D, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to support new product introduction and scaling

Establish and track KPIs including defect rates, cycle times, and cost of quality to drive data-based decisions
-
Lead capital projects including equipment selection, cost justification, budgeting, and implementation
-
Manage, coach, and develop engineering staff while enforcing standard work and resolving personnel issues

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using root cause analysis and corrective action processes
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing environment

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies

Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
-
Experience using ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Office tools
