Manufacturing Engineer/Tool Designer III

Works with Manufacturing Engineering team to develop models of tooling/fixturing concepts used to machine aircraft parts.

Responsibilities:

• Performs CAD modeling functions to create accurate solid models of machined parts, assemblies, or fixtures
• Conceptualize manufacturing process options for CNC machining of complex structural aircraft parts
• Work with team to develop machining sequence plans and conceptual fixture designs for efficient machining of aluminum, titanium and stainless steel structural aircraft parts

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years trade school, vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship.
• Applicant must be a U.S. Person
• Experience with NX/Unigraphics and/or CATIA is a plus
• Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience is a plus
