Manufacturing Equipment Technician

About the Role:
We are developing advanced micromanufacturing technology to enable next-generation MEMS and precision devices. As a Manufacturing Equipment Technician, you’ll work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize high-tech production and R&D equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, R&D, and automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues.
- Conduct equipment qualifications, calibrations, and performance verifications.
- Maintain detailed maintenance and repair documentation.
- Support installation, upgrades, and decommissioning of manufacturing tools.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, safety, and uptime.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience maintaining equipment in a high-tech or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with both manual and automated tools; understanding of chemical safety procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of LOTO, high-voltage, and gas safety practices.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform regular equipment maintenance tasks.
- High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
- PLC programming or troubleshooting experience is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Working with gloveboxes or controlled environments.
- Familiarity with PVD, ECP, laser machining, or CNC systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
