In this position...

  • Join the finance team at the Buffalo Stamping Plant, a critical hub in Ford’s manufacturing footprint. Buffalo Stamping Plant produces sheet metal parts for a variety of products including the Super Duty, F-150, Expedition, Econoline, and Bronco. The plant is located in Hamburg, New York, around 7 miles south of downtown Buffalo.
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented, high-energy Plant Financial Analyst, who will work closely with the Plant Controller. This critical role provides the operating management committee with financial analysis on daily, weekly, and monthly operating results. This role partners with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and operations, to deliver cost insights, KPI analysis, and support strategic budgeting and forecasting.

What you'll do...

  • Develop and analyze a daily manufacturing cost package in MS Excel
  • Supporting Month End Closure by preparing Journal Entries
  • Develop and maintain various KPI operating metrics to help management team drive operating efficiency.
  • Monthly forecasting and annual budget development
  • Work with various departments to develop and analyze projects.
  • Participate in audits and internal control assessments.
  • Identify and implement emerging technologies to modernize plant operations and enhance the efficiency of the Controller’s office.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Math, Statistics or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in Finance/ Accounting in Manufacturing Environment
  • Communication: Demonstrated ability to confidently communicate with all levels of the management structure and across multiple skill teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, HR, etc.)
  • Analytical Rigor: Excellent analytical ability, high attention to detail, and a proven history of data-driven decision-making.
  • Mindset: A self-starter and adaptive learner who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • MBA preferred
  • Experience with modern system tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, PowerApps, Python, or Google Cloud Platform.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
