Manufacturing Operations Engineer

SUMMARY:

Key to our business growth is a skilled and dedicated manufacturing process improvement team. We’re searching for a highly qualified operations project manager to help us maintain our position as an innovative authority. The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to operations and other managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
:

  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks
  • Ensure safety, quality, manufacturing, and other company requirements are included and implemented as part of all projects
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
  • As directed, participate and conduct productivity and other efficiency projects
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed to support the business.

SCOPE OF POSITION
:

  • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
  • Project Management as assigned by Supervisor
  • Travel Short Term: 3-4x per month to 3rd party locations
  • Travel Longer Term: 1-2X per month as needed


EXPERIENCE
:

Minimum 3-5 years projects; demonstrated execution of six sigma and/or lean projects.

KNOWLEDGE
:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university (in a technical degree) and – 3+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS
:

Six Sigma/Lean, Project Manager (PMP), Leadership, Troubleshooting, Continuous Improvement

The base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, actual compensation may vary and will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to, the applicant’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors. Isolatek reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on company and personal performance.
