Job Purpose
Support daily manufacturing quality engineering team across the region, ensuring the application of the defined processes are correctly done allowing the launch of serial life modifications and the quality KPI convergence.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the regional leader for manufacturing quality leader main task and responsibility are:

Roll out quality Engineering structure according to corporate

Roll out Global standards -Train and coach for regional /Local deployment
-
Voice of the region on new standards or modification of existing ones.

Coaching on newcomers and support on transition phases.
-
Assure good level of competences on all the factories, either in numbers of people to fulfill the archetype and technical skills.

Support on the escalation processes to manufacturing and engineering topics.

Identify and share best practices among region and in business club management by the corporate

Support action plan for gaps identified inside the region

Perform internal and external benchmark

Regular gemba in plants

Support on Product/Process change acceptance (Quality risk assessment, PPAP approval)

In Field Quality Monitoring (Short Loop, Customer Obeya)

Treatment (non-conformities, Product Design redesign actions plans)

Quality supplier relationship in plants operating modes definition and update (Control at Reception, Immediate Containment, Incident declaration/treatment, animation of supplier, escalation (Supplier Obeya)

Support on quality synthesis for the region.

Transversal warranty tables on the region.

Lesson learnt L2 validation for the region
Competencies & Qualifications
-
Masters degree in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering technology from an accredited university (other engineering degrees, in combination with relevant experience may be considered)

• Region MEA Manufacturing: 0/3/12/24 MIS KPPM -> Measure the Customer warranty claims. Purpose: toassess the effectiveness of the action implemented in the plants

Plants coverage rate/ PPM

SCA (STELLANTIS CUSTOMER AUDIT) -> Qty of Defects per Vehicle (DPV, PPV) Purpose: To assess quality sent in the field & 100% checks effectiveness to improve issue detectability & severity.

DRR (DIRECT RUN RATE) -> Measure the capacity of the production to assemble vehicles without defects that cannot be repaired in the process flow

DVx: Defect / Vehicle -> measure the qty of defects per vehicle produced in Manufacturing and Quality. Purpose: to assess the quality built at workstation
