About Mindsets
The Mindsets Technology unit operates a value-add reseller division for cutting-edge technology partners. Our current focus is on bringing advanced technology solutions to the GCC market, specifically the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We serve clients in industrial sectors including manufacturing, logistics and distribution centers, and smart buildings with AI-powered solutions leveraging Industrial IoT, predictive maintenance, and edge analytics.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, manage the deployment, and optimization of predictive maintenance solutions across industrial environments. This role combines deep technical expertise in machine health monitoring with strategic consulting capabilities to deliver measurable ROI for clients deploying edge-based sensor solutions.
The ideal candidate will serve as the technical authority from initial site assessment through solution delivery, ensuring that sensor deployment strategies align with ISO standards, operational requirements, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Site Assessment & Discovery
- Conduct comprehensive on-site assessments to identify critical rotating and non-rotating assets requiring condition monitoring
- Evaluate existing machine infrastructure, operational patterns, and maintenance histories to determine monitoring priorities
- Map asset criticality based on failure impact, production dependencies, and safety considerations
- Document environmental conditions, connectivity requirements, and installation constraints for sensor deployment
Solution Architecture & Design
- Design end-to-end predictive maintenance architectures incorporating sensors, gateways, and analytics platforms
- Develop sensor deployment blueprints specifying placement, quantity, communication protocols, and power requirements
- Define vibration, temperature, and other measurement parameters aligned with ISO 10816, ISO 20816, and related standards
- Create technical specifications for integration with existing SCADA, CMMS, and enterprise systems
- Architect scalable solutions that accommodate phased rollouts and future expansion
Business Analysis & ROI Development
- Develop comprehensive ROI analyses quantifying potential savings from reduced unplanned downtime, extended asset life, and optimized maintenance schedules
- Calculate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) including hardware, installation, connectivity, and ongoing operational costs
- Model payback periods and NPV projections based on client-specific operational data
- Present business cases to technical and executive stakeholders with clear value propositions
- Develop asset criticality matrices and monitoring priority frameworks
- Create commissioning and acceptance test plans
- Establish baseline measurement protocols and alarm threshold recommendations
