Description:

You will be the Manufacturing Support Team Member (Level 2) for the MFC Mechanical Manufacturing Team. Our team is responsible for machining, welding, painting, and assembling mechanical parts used for multiple programs, playing a critical role in bringing our products to life.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Manufacturing Support Team Member (Level 2) you will be responsible for executing core production processes, ensuring quality standards, and supporting the overall flow of mechanical components.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Operate CNC machines, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce precision parts.

  • Perform welding operations in accordance with engineering specifications.

  • Apply paint finishes and surface treatments to meet durability requirements.

  • Assemble mechanical sub‑assemblies and verify fit‑form‑function.

  • Maintain tooling, troubleshoot equipment issues, and uphold safety protocols.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 1+ years of professional experience, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques
  • Promote continuous improvement using data-driven decision-making processes

Desired Skills:


  • Ability to innovate and improve product flow
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to drive Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA)
  • Knowledge on CNC Machines and Processes

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
