Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and technically curious Manufacturing Systems Developer to join our Operation Systems team at the Grafton Plant. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and make a real impact by developing and supporting smart manufacturing systems.
In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and technicians to build and maintain systems that automate data flow, support production processes, and connect people and machines. You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern development tools including C#, Radzen Blazor and SQL, while contributing to real-world projects that drive efficiency and innovation.
Highlights of your role:
1. Develop and Support Manufacturing Systems

Assist in designing and developing web-based manufacturing tools using C#, Blazor, and related technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Engineering, CI, Quality, Safety, Production) to implement new systems and improve existing ones.

Support the integration of data systems with automated and robotic equipment.
2. Automate Data Flows

Help build tools that automate the flow of data between systems, machines, and people.

Create dashboards and reports to support planning, operations, and decision-making.

Use scripting and programming to manipulate and present manufacturing data.
3. Learn and Grow

Receive mentorship and training from senior developers and technical leads.

Participate in Agile development practices and contribute to team planning and retrospectives.

Take ownership of small projects and gradually expand your technical responsibilities.
4. Support Order Data and System Processes
-
Assist with troubleshooting order data issues and identifying automation opportunities.

Help maintain documentation and training materials for systems you support.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):
- Strong interest in software development and manufacturing systems.

Basic understanding of programming concepts and web technologies.

Familiarity with C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or JSON.

Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Also want to make sure you have:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience with or interest in Blazor, .NET, or Microsoft 365 platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate).

Exposure to SQL or other data tools is a bonus.

Understanding of computer networks and communication protocols is helpful.
