Minimum Qualification
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the development team and tech leads, as well as product specialists and other IT colleagues
- Backlog management and technical specification/refinement of items, from requirement until successful deployable implementation
- Extensive experience with JIRA (including integration to Github) and ATC Confluence
- Moderating and ensuring the efficiency and output of all Scrum events, coordinating the Scrum team
- Managing and documenting release contents, sprint capacities and roadmap tracking
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users
- Project/Product management skills
- Self-dependent principle of work and willingness to learn continuously
- Pro-active improvement drive and commitment to maintaining a high performing development team workflow.
- Conversational English skills – minimum equivalent B2/C1 level
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with CI/CD tools (IntelliJ, GitHub, Nexus, SonarQube) and practices
- Experience with large scale systems containing backend IN, OUT and IN/OUT interfaces
- Java frontend and backend development experience – including JDK[1] Java EE[2] (Payara/GlassFish) applications
- Experience with release and deployment to Productive environments
- Ability to handle time constrained requirements and emergent situations in productive environment
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
- Proficient use of Product backlog and Product documentation tools (JIRA and Confluence)
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Scrum mastery on cross-functional/full stack development team
- Conversational English skills (minimum B2/C1)
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
Scrum master for a Development team on a large scale application.
You work serving as the scrum master of a mid-sized Development team of assembly planning software for BMW plants with two specialized features, closely cooperating with BMW IT and Business colleagues.
You maintain, refine and track the progression of a product backlog, from the requirement descriptions (items) until the inclusion of completed requirements in a deployable release.
You ensure the Development team has sufficiently refined items and all needed tools are available.
You work closely with the Agile Master to make teams better.
You track the progression of a Product Roadmap along with BMW colleagues.
You interact with developers, Tech leads, and BMW employees.
