Marble & Granite AutoCAD Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman with experience in marble and stone fabrication. The ideal candidate can read site measurements, prepare accurate shop drawings, and coordinate closely with production to ensure all pieces are cut and finished correctly .

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Minimum 4 years of experience
• Prepare detailed shop drawings for marble, granite, and stone works (kitchens, steps, vanity tops, cladding, tables, frames, waterjet patterns).
• Develop detailed shop drawings based on architectural and structural plans.
• Calculate precise material quantities (slab sizes, edge details, cutouts, etc.)
• Prepare cutting lists and layout plans for fabrication.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions.
• Produce as-built drawings reflecting actual installations.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers.
• Coordinate with the factory for cutting, finishing, and delivery schedules.
• Specify joint placements, backing support, fixing methods (dry or wet fixation).
• Prepare anchoring detail drawings for vertical/horizontal applications.
• Ensure drawings meet company and industry standards.
• Ensure accuracy of dimensions, material thickness, edge profiles, fixing details, and tolerances
• Support estimation team with quantity take-off when needed.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy to avoid material wastage.
• Update drawings based on client/architect feedback.
• Maintain records of revisions and approvals.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D is a plus).
• Familiarity with other tools like SketchUp, Revit, or Rhino is an advantage.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma holder
• With a minimum of 4 years- UAE experience from Marble industry
• Must have excellent knowledge and experience of working in AutoCAD
• Prepare as built drawings as per site conditions
• Self-reliance and ability in AutoCAD, 3D Max,3D Modelling, Photoshop adobe and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of quantifying the material
• Excellent English language skills- verbal, written and spoken
• Who can join immediately

Salary: AED2000-3000 per month
