MariaDB Upgrade Consultant

Role Overview:
Advansys is seeking an experienced MariaDB Upgrade Consultant to lead version upgrade and migration projects. You’ll be responsible for planning, testing, executing, and validating MariaDB upgrades while ensuring data integrity, minimal downtime, and post-upgrade optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess existing MariaDB environments and prepare upgrade plans.
Execute upgrades from legacy versions to current stable releases.
Perform compatibility testing and performance validation.
Ensure robust rollback and backup strategies are in place.
Provide documentation and post-upgrade performance tuning.
Requirements
Proven experience in MariaDB upgrade and migration projects.
In-depth understanding of MariaDB version differences and compatibility.
Strong skills in backup/recovery and replication configuration.
Experience with Linux systems and scripting automation.
