An international marine survey company is seeking a marine surveyor or person with logistics experience to work in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, principally in the Port of Dammam. Travel to other locations in the region may be required.

Applicants should have some experience in the following areas;

• Seagoing experience on cargo vessels or
• Cargo / project cargo surveying experience or
• International freight and logistics experience with project cargo

Applicant should have a valid passport and local Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or International driving license.

Experience or familiarity with marine cargo processes and documentation are preferred as well as with the following project cargo documents;

• Project Cargo Risk Management - Load, stow and secure cargo
• Be capable of interpreting and reviewing;
• Method statements
• Technical drawings
• Packaging specifications (where relevant)
• Lifting plans
• Securing plans / calculations

Training and technical support will be provided as required. Candidates must have report-writing and communication skills in English and a working knowledge of Arabic will be advantageous. Strong, analytical reasoning, attention to detail, and client-facing professionalism are essential.

Appropriate KSA work permits will be provided. Upon completion of 3 months’ probation period health insurance, local transportation and home flights will be provided. All material and equipment to complete the work required will be provided (safety equipment, laptop etc).

Pay: ﷼2,500.00 - ﷼4,000.00 per month
