About Us

The Throne Chasers is developing an integrated offshore STS and onshore hydrocarbon storage & re-export facility at Gwadar Port. This is a strategic energy infrastructure project, engaging both international investors and Pakistani regulatory authorities.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maritime Consultant (Project Director Level) on a retainer basis to guide our project through regulatory, technical, and strategic milestones. The consultant will act as the maritime subject matter expert , interfacing with GPA, COPHC, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and optimized project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on offshore STS operations , including site selection, vessel operations, and safety compliance.
• Advise on maritime regulations , including GPA jurisdiction, territorial limits, and port operational guidelines.
• Liaise with GPA technical team, MMD, Pakistan Navy, Coast Guard , and other relevant authorities.
• Support the development of technical feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Provide review and recommendations for tendering, contractor selection, and equipment specifications.
• Mentor and guide internal teams on offshore operations, regulatory strategy, and best practices .
• Act as a primary point of contact for maritime-related queries from investors, insurers, and technical advisors.

Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum 15 years in maritime operations, offshore oil & gas, or port logistics .
• Proven track record with offshore STS, tankers, jetty operations , or terminal projects.
• Strong regulatory knowledge of Pakistan maritime law and port operations.
• Experience liaising with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Retainer Proposal

• Engagement Type: Monthly retainer (6-12 month renewable)
• Scope: Advisory, compliance guidance, stakeholder liaison, feasibility review
• Deliverables: Written guidance, technical briefings, regulatory liaison, meeting participation
• Confidentiality & IP: All outputs remain property of TTC; NDA required

Compensation: Competitive, to be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
