Marine Electrical Engineer

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Marine Engineering.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in marine electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC distribution systems, generators, and marine equipment.
  • Experience in inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems onboard vessels.
  • Familiarity with navigation and communication systems (GPS, Radar, VHF, AIS).
  • Knowledge of marine safety systems including fire alarms and bilge systems.
  • Available to join immediately.



  • Requirements

  • Inspect and maintain AC/DC distribution panels and electrical systems onboard.
  • Perform inspection, servicing, and parameter checks for generators, main engines, and battery chargers.
  • Monitor and adjust generator voltage, frequency, and RPM.
  • Check generator components including sensors, fuses, DDC systems, and cabling.
  • Ensure proper functioning of bilge pumps (manual/auto modes and alarms).
  • Inspect sliding door systems and associated sensors.
  • Maintain and inspect lighting systems across accommodation, engine room, deck, and wheelhouse.
  • Handle navigation and communication equipment (GPS, Radar, VHF, AIS).
  • Maintain auxiliary systems such as searchlights, horns, wipers, and CCTV.
  • Inspect ventilation systems including engine room and tank room exhaust fans.
  • Ensure proper operation of fire alarm systems (smoke/heat detectors, MCPs, zonal alarms).
  • Check fire damper functionality across all areas.
  • Maintain onboard sound and TV systems.
  • Monitor and maintain pumps (fresh water, black water, fuel transfer).
  • Carry out maintenance and repair of jetty shore electrical pedestals.
