- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on marine vessels.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment.
- Service power distribution systems, control panels, generators, batteries, lighting, navigation, and communication systems.
- Install and terminate electrical wiring, cables, and connectors according to marine standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliable vessel operation.
- Test electrical systems and verify functionality after repairs or installations.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable marine regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, mechanics, and other technicians to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- Diploma, technical certification, or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Marine Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Marine Electrician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, marine electrical installations, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with marine safety standards and electrical codes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
