Marine Engineer

Responsibilities

Ø Site in-charge or supervisor

Ø Salary must be flexible and suited up to the person performance

Ø Knows about AutoCAD, 3D Max and related Marine Drawings

Ø Knows how to make reports

Ø Conducting research and tests to inform the design and construction of marine platforms and equipment.

Ø Preparing technical reports such as research, systems diagnostics, and design analysis documentation such as Method Statement and Risk Assessment

Ø Presenting layout and engineering designs to clients and team members for analysis and feedback.

Ø Supervising all aspects of the design process for structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Ø Overseeing the construction of marine platforms and equipment to ensure their quality and integrity.

Ø Performing quality control inspections and tests on all systems and equipment and installing upgrades, as needed.

Ø Ensuring adherence to safety precautions and project timelines.

Ø Training and supervising engineering teams including mechanics, and construction staff.

Ø Performing maintenance on marine platforms and equipment.

Ø Investigating and diagnosing technical issues and implementing effective repairs.

Qualification

· Bachelor's degree in marine engineering or similar.

· Relevant engineer license.

· Professional engineer (PE) certification preferred.

· A minimum of four years' experience as a marine engineer or similar.

· Experience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, 3D MAX, and SOLIDWORKS.

· Sound knowledge of maritime software

· Familiarity with maritime HM&E systems and naval construction processes.

· Experience with a variety of engineering processes including mechanical, electrical, and software.

· Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

· Physically fit and able to work in strenuous circumstances and harsh weather conditions.

Other Requirements:

• Registered Engineers in Abu Dhabi Municipality
• Must have AADC/ ADDC approval

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• Registered Engineers in ADM (Preferred)
