About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Marine Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of marine machinery and systems onboard vessels or offshore installations.

KeyResponsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain main engines, generators, and auxiliary systems
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of onboard machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maritime standards (SOLAS, MARPOL, etc.)
• Maintain logs, reports, and maintenance records
• Assist in dry docking, overhauls, and system upgrades
• Monitor fuel consumption and optimize efficiency
• Coordinate with deck officers and shore-based teams
• Ensure proper inventory of spare parts and tools

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as per STCW (preferred for seagoing roles)
• 3–10+ years of experience (depending on seniority)
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, compressors, and marine systems
• Familiarity with IMO regulations and classification society rules
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
