MARINE ENGINEER/ MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Our Yachts and Boats manufacturing firm is in search of an ambitious energetic Marine Engineer/Naval Engineer to join our Boats and Yachts Maintenance Department; responsible to lead the team performing all maintenance on boats and yachts.

The role includes managing all activities of Maintenance department including job evaluation, preparation of quotations, supervising maintenance teams, Business development and Customer satisfaction, ensure quality works on the Yachts/Boats under maintenance and that all vessels leave the yard at peak performance etc.

He will be responsible to administrate:-

Ensure timely completion of maintenance projects with high-quality standards.

Maintain strong communication and relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Attract more clients and Maintenance jobs.

Monitor inventory, spare parts, and workshop tools.

Ensure compliance with marine safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Prepare regular reports and maintenance records.

Perform routine inspection, servicing, and repair of boat engines (inboard/outboard), generators, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.

Maintain and repair hulls, propellers, steering systems, and onboard equipment.

Ensure all works are performed in compliance with marine safety standards.

Coordinate with all Departments for parts and specialized repairs.

Assist in vessel launching, docking, and sea trials when required.

The ideal candidate would be with Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering/ Naval Architecture/ Mechanical Engineering/or equivalent, Minimum 3-5 years of experience in boat or yacht maintenance, Knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems, Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills, Proficient in preparing maintenance quotes and evaluating technical jobs, Excellent communication in English and Arabic.
